Summer Kiss

Summer Kiss is a large original floral sunflower impressionistic, palette knife, still life painting. This painting was inspired by the many folklore stories about the sunflower, includeing magic, love, loyalty and medicine for over four thousand years. Materials include acrylic. mixed media paints, and textures on deep edge gallery wrapped canvas.

Title:    Passion for Jazz

This is the most recent project somewhat inspired by day dreams, music and nature.  While the use of textures, metallic and iridescent pigments have been for quite a while, this painting rendered some surprising results in the change of colors and clarity through alternating light conditions and room positions.  It will be interesting to see what popular position it occupies in the next seven to ten days, when the current project is completed.
