This painting is a contemplated original one of a kind, palette knife abstract lotus flower. Containing mixed media, acrylic paints, metallic pigments, and textures on gallery wrapped canvas. Inspiration are the ancient stories of the blue lotus flower depicted in early Egyptian spiritual beliefs.

The metallic pigments provide a unique sense of life giving movement through changing light conditions. There is little justice for the actual artwork through photography. Please see the video slide show for examples of changing light conditions.
